William Keith

William Keith Newkirk, 61, of Springfield, MO passed away comfortably in his home surrounded by his family, after fighting a brave battle with cancer and COPD on January 14, 2025.

Keith was proceeded in death by his mother, Winona Newkirk, and brother, Larry Newkirk.

Keith is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheila, his 2 daughters, Niki and Rachelle Schofield; 4 grandchildren, Camron, Aryanna, MJ, and Harley; and his close cousin, Deeana Schuchmann.

Keith was a God fearing Christian man, very faithful in his religious beliefs. He worked very hard throughout his life and put his heart and soul into everything he did. Keith was the most selfless man, who always went above and beyond to help his family and friends with anything they needed. He was the best Papa to his grandchildren, and an amazing dad to his daughters. He helped raise them up, supported them, and taught them many things. Keith was an incredible husband and loved by his wife, Sheila to the very end.

Keith was loved by all who knew him and touched each person's life along the way. Keith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
