Obituary
Richard Dean Hopper, 58, of Lead Hill, AR peacefully went home to the Lord on Saturday May 3, 2025 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO.
Born on October 27, 1966, Richard was the son of Otis and Helen (Cobb) Hopper.
He was an avid racing fan, especially NASCAR. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Kyle Larson. He was a great man, who never met a stranger and would help anyone he could.
Richard worked as an OTR truck driver for 36 years.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robbie Hopper.
He is survived by his son, Elliot Hopper; fiancee, Shannon Walters; one sister, Pam (Jim) O'Neal; two brothers, Joe and Roger Hopper; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
