Lindy Sue

Lindy Sue Painter, 61, of Galmey passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 at her home.

Lindy was born on October 8, 1962, to John and Donna (Boyles) Painter in Fontana, CA.

She is survived by her siblings and twin sister, Cindy Gannaway; and several nieces and nephews.

Lindy was a very kind and giving person. She was always willing to help out anyone in need - family or friends. She loved her family more than anything else in the world. Raised on a tobacco farm, she loved to be outdoors, gardening, mushroom hunting, and working on cars. She would sneak her nephews out of school to go on “learning adventures” at museums, battlegrounds, and anywhere she thought they could learn from.

Lindy was believer in medical donation, and would be proud that she was able to give in that way at the end of her life.

Cremation rites have been accorded with no public services currently planned. Arrangements under the care of Southwest Cremation.
