Johnny

Johnny Lynn Johnson, 65, of Oregon, and more recently a resident of Monette, Missouri, passed away on February 21, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Born on September 26, 1959, in Jerome, Idaho, Johnny was the son of Anna Marie (Meyer) Christensen and was later adopted by James Oscar Johnson.

Johnny had great companionship and children in life with Darlene, Deanna Suppa, and Winnona Keil.

He is survived by his 7 children, Johnny Johnson Jr., JD Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Timothy Johnson, Tyghe Johnson, Zacary Johnson, and Jesseca Johnson. His mother, Anna Christensen, his dad, James Johnson, his brother Tracy Johnson and his sister Eve Beyers (Johnson)

He was preceded in death by his sister Dawn (Johnson) Fox and his longtime companion Winonna Kiel.

At 18 Johnny served in the United States Marine Corps as a cook. Over his life he worked many different types of jobs in many places. His main job and talent was in cooking and baking. Johnny found solace in fishing, being outdoors and tinkering with anything mechanical. Although Johnny never had much in life he was very generous. It has been said that he would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. We will always remember the fun times we had with Johnny.
