Obituary
James E. Barnett, 68, of Thayer, MO passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. James was born on August 15, 1957 in Elgin, IL; the son of James Edward and Norma Jean (Mahan) Barnett. He was preceded in death by his father, and two children, Aidyn Barnett and Stacy Burrow. He is survived by his six children, Sherry Denton, April Hutton, Richard Wayne Burrow, Gemma Barnett, Lexi Barnett, and Nikkita Barnett. Cremation rites have been accorded and the family will host a Celebration of Life in James’ honor at 4:00 PM on Friday November. 28, 2025 at Mammoth Springs Arkansas Fire Department.
