Donald W. Swearngin (Don) 79 of Ozark, MO formerly of LaMonte/Green Ridge, MO died peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

He was born July 19, 1945, in Clinton, MO to William Ernest and Opal Davis Swearngin.

On August 6, 1965 in Sedalia, MO he was united in marriage to Lana Kay Richards, who survives the home.

Don graduated from Smith-Cotton High School class of 1963. He then enlisted in the Army and served from 1963-66. After the Army, he went to work for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline and then worked for Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline until he retired in 2000.

Survivors included two children Chris Faulconer (Jeff) of Ozark, MO, Greg Swearngin (Laura) of Lake Winnebago, MO; two siblings Wanda Chittenden and Jim Swearngin. Also left to cherish his memory are his four grandsons Cole Faulconer (Alisha), Austin Faulconer (Becca), Trey Faulconer and Landon Swearngin; three great-grandchildren Rhett, Riley and Mauri.
