Obituary
Bobby Franklin Hudson, 68 of Springfield, MO passed away at home Monday Sept. 2nd, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his loving Mother Verla Geller of Neosho, MO and his younger brother Randy Hudson of Katy, TX.
He is survived by his three children: Jesse Hudson, Jenna Hudson and Julie Hudson of Springfield, MO. & their mother Angie. His two amazing Grandchildren Zac Campolo & Madison Campolo of Springfield, MO. His brother Ron Bradley and sister-in-law Tywana Bradley also of Springfield, MO. His sister Patti Wilson of Neosho, MO, his stepfather, Elmer (Huck) Geller of Joplin, MO and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He grew up and graduated from high school in Mt. Vernon MO. He served in the army from 1976-1977 and spent the last 30 years in the painting industry.
Bob loved to play and listen to music and his children share that love of music with him. Bob loved garage saling and going to estate sales and he NEVER passed up a great deal!
Bob was a genuinely kind soul who followed the Golden Rule. He lived a minimalist life by example and was a true giver. Luke 12:15 says, “Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”
A Celebration of Life will be held for Bobby at the Battlefield Community Center, 5434 Tower Dr. Battlefield, MO. 65619, on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 PM.
