Billy Darrell Thomas, 76, of Springfield passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Billy was born June 20, 1948 in Branson; the son of Billie Gene and Ruby Etta (Snider) Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Lynn Grayson; his parents; three brothers, Eddie Dean Thomas, Vernon Ray Thomas, and James Burl Thomas; one sister, Donna Kay Clevenger; and one step-son, Jody Alexander.
Billy is survived by his two sons, Timothy James Grayson and wife, Kristin Elizabeth Lyons, and Derrick Wayne Grayson and wife, Rachael Grayson; his daughter, Stephanie Nicole Godfrey; step-son, Joshua Haygood; two sisters, Pamela Jean Thomas and Verna Faye Allen; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and tons more friends and family.
Billy lived and worked in the Springfield area as a truck driver. He was known to love a good laugh and telling his stories of life on the road as a truck driver.
